Hello and welcome to my Visual Effects Advertising course. My name is Jacob Zirkle and I'll be your guide into the amazing world of using VFX for digital marketing. I currently work as a Nuke Compositor and CGI generalist in the commercial industry having worked with companies such as Pureology, MoroccanOil, and Kosas just to name a few. In this course I wanted to focus on using accessible programs such as Blender and After Effects in order to create stunning Visual Effects that clients are always looking for. We will start by covering some basic concepts such as camera tracking and creating a 3D scene from scratch. Then we will transition to a full Visual Effects shot going over every aspect in detail. Finally we’ll take it up a notch in a more advanced level shot including multipass compositing and some fun physics. This course is designed to cater to more beginner level users however some basic knowledge for both programs is recommended as I won’t be teaching every single concept.

Now here are some more specific details you can expect. For this course I plan to add additional content and lectures in the future so that we can constantly evolve and cover a wide range of concepts based on the latest trends.
